PepsiCo India has appointed Saakshi Verma Menon as its new Chief Marketing Officer – Foods, a key leadership role in which she will spearhead the marketing strategy for the company’s diverse India Foods portfolio. This includes household snack and convenience brands such as Lay’s, Kurkure, Uncle Chipps, Quaker, Cheetos, and Doritos.
Menon announced the appointment via a recent LinkedIn post, marking a significant milestone in her career at PepsiCo. In her post Menon wrote: “I am thrilled to share that I will now be stepping into a new role within the PepsiCo family and leading the marketing mandate for India Foods as the Chief Marketing Officer.
“Super pumped to work on some of the most iconic and beloved brands from the house of PepsiCo – Lay’s, Kurkure, Uncle Chipps, Quaker, Cheetos and Doritos. These brands have been part of everyday moments for millions, and I’m excited to shape the next chapter of their journey.
“Am super grateful for the last two years at PepsiCo – Thanks to the amazing AMESA team & the International beverages team for the partnership and making PepsiCo feel like home so quickly,” she added.
Over the past two years, she has worked closely with the AMESA (Africa, Middle East, and South Asia) and International Beverages teams, gaining valuable cross-market experience and building strong partnerships across global functions.
As part of PepsiCo India’s senior leadership team, Menon will now focus on driving the next phase of growth for the company’s food brands in a dynamic and competitive market.
