HealthCast
HealthCast is the earliest podcast series on MediaBrief.com and the audio companion to HealthBrief, the healthcare desk. It holds five episodes, all published in 2019, on public health and the working life of the medical profession in India.
The episodes ran from March to November 2019. Two of them deal with tuberculosis: patient notification as India’s strongest weapon against TB, and the case of a young woman who was careless with her treatment. The others cover violence against doctors, 150 years of the Indian Medical Association, and the travails of resident doctors. HealthCast is audio only; no episode in this series was recorded on camera, so it does not appear under Video Podcasts. The archive stays online because the subjects have not dated.
