MediaBrief is an India-based B2B news and knowledge platform for professionals across media, marketing, advertising, communications, technology, healthcare, entertainment and the wider business ecosystem.
This page sets out what we publish, how we work and what readers can hold us to.
Why MediaBrief exists
Business decisions in media, marketing and communications are made faster than the information behind them is verified. MediaBrief exists to close that gap.
We report for people who work in these industries rather than for a general audience. That means we publish the detail a practitioner needs: who did what, on whose brief, with what result, and what it signals for the sector. Our readers are senior professionals, and we write for them as such.
What we cover
MediaBrief reports across the sectors that shape India’s business and communications landscape:
- Media and entertainment, including broadcast, streaming, print and radio
- Advertising, marketing and brand strategy
- Corporate communications and public relations
- Technology and digital transformation
- Healthcare, health communications and pharma
- Business, leadership and management
- Workplace culture, talent and the creator economy
- Regulation, policy and industry bodies
How we work
What we publish
MediaBrief publishes the latest news stories, original reporting, exclusive leadership interviews, edited conversations, long-form features, roundtables and B2B podcasts.
How we handle sources, attribution and commercial content
We distinguish clearly between reported fact, direct quotation, analysis and opinion, and attribute information to reliable sources. We do not knowingly publish unverified claims or present promotional material as independent editorial content.
Where MediaBrief publishes sponsored, commissioned or partner content, it is clearly labelled as such.
Where a report, regulatory filing, research paper, official announcement or other primary source is material to a story, the published story should link to that primary source where practicable.
How we handle errors and editorial accountability
When a material error is identified, we correct it clearly and promptly. Where a correction is material, a visible correction note is added to the story itself.
Readers may report a possible error by writing to thenewsdesk@mediabrief.com.
Editorial responsibility rests with Pavan R Chawla, Founder-Editor of MediaBrief.
