Parthiv Neotia, Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited, took over as the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce (ICC) – a premier body of business and industry, at the conclusion of its Annual General Meeting (AGM) held in Kolkata on Thursday. Notably the Chamber commemorated its Centenary in 2025.
Later Neotia welcomed Gautam Adani as the Chief Guest of ICC’s Annual Session & AGM 2026.
Underpinning the importance of Bengal in shaping the contours of Business and Commerce of India, as the country aspires to become a $5 Trillion Economy by 2027–2028, and keeping pace with the larger commitment of Viksit Bharat@2047, Gautam Adani Founder & Chairman of Adani Group in his keynote address said, “Our commitment to Bengal goes far beyond individual projects. Over the coming decade, our intent is to deploy over one lakh crore rupees across Bengal. This will span ports, logistics, power generation, power transmission and distribution, road bridges, ropeways, green cement as well as hyper scale data centres.”
Outlining his vision for the ICC during his Presidency, Neotia said, “As India stands at the intersection of rapid economic growth and historic youth dividend, my endeavour would be to strengthen manifold the Chamber’s role as the bridge for business, fostering trade, growth, and collaboration between Indian enterprises and global partners giving due importance to Sustainable Development Goals. The contribution of the young serves as an unmistakable catalyst for sustainable prosperity and inclusive growth that I endeavour to contribute to.”
Parthiv Neotia holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Babson College, USA, and an MBA from London Business School, UK. As the Managing Director of Ambuja Neotia Healthcare Venture Limited he leads strategic growth and operations across its expanding network of multispecialty hospitals, diagnostic centres and fertility centres.
He also spearheads key initiatives in the Group’s hospitality vertical, which spans hotels, restaurants and quick-service dining. His work focuses on design innovation, service standards and customer experience. Alongside his business responsibilities, he contributes to industry dialogue and sectoral development initiatives.
At the AGM, Keshav Bhajanka, Executive Director of Century Ply, was elected as the Senior Vice President of ICC, while Gyanesh Chaudhary, Chairman and Managing Director of Vikram Solar Limited, was elected as the Vice President.
Together, the new office-bearers bring rich experience across healthcare, hospitality, building materials and renewable energy to ICC’s engagement with industry and policymakers.
