Kärcher India, a global cleaning technology and solutions company, announces the appointment of Puneet Sharma as Managing Director – Kärcher India, effective January 21, 2026.
Puneet Sharma brings over 30 years of leadership experience across commercial, manufacturing, and engineering-led organisations. He has managed full P&L responsibilities, driven operational excellence, built high-performance teams, and led large, multi-location businesses.
During his career, he has held senior leadership roles, including Managing Director, CEO, and Board positions with organisations such as Konecranes and Demag, Kohler Group, Greaves Cotton, and Cummins India, where he played a role in driving growth, strengthening operations, and building scalable business platforms.
Puneet Sharma holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from Delhi College of Engineering and an MBA from Indiana University, USA. Known for his strategic acumen, people-centric leadership style, and strong execution focus, he is expected to play a key role in advancing Kärcher India’s growth ambitions and strengthening its position in the Indian market.
