Institute of Management Studies (IMS), Noida has announced the elevation of Lokesh Vashishth as Chief Digital & Technology Officer, strengthening the institution’s focus on technology-led transformation as artificial intelligence, automation, data governance, and regulatory compliance increasingly reshape the higher education landscape.
Vashishth has more than 20 years of experience across technology, digital marketing, growth and business expansion. He has worked on technology-enabled growth systems, performance marketing, admissions strategy, CRM and marketing automation. In his expanded role, he will lead the digital and technology transformation of the IMS group, including branding technology, digital platforms, CRM, MarTech and data infrastructure.
His focus will be on building a unified digital ecosystem that supports the full student life cycle, from recruitment to academic engagement and career outcomes, while ensuring compliance with privacy frameworks such as the Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act, 2023. This includes building secure and ethical data systems, simple consent management and clear governance models, along with using AI, automation and data-driven decision-making across institutional workflows.
Before his elevation, Vashishth headed Business Development & Marketing Strategy for IMS Design & Innovation Academy (IMS Noida). He built lead funnels for admissions, improved acquisition and conversion efficiency, and launched CRM-led marketing systems. His work has focused on bringing together marketing, admissions, data privacy and institutional leadership to deliver better results.
Lokesh Vashishth – Chief Digital & Technology Officer – IMS Noida, said, “Education is being fundamentally reshaped by AI, automation, and data governance, presenting an opportunity to build digital-first institutions that prioritize both student outcomes and data protection.
“As regulations like the DPDP Act set new standards for privacy and data stewardship in education, our focus will be on combining technology, CRM, MarTech, and secure digital architecture to build compliant, high-impact systems. I am grateful to the leadership for their trust and look forward to steering the next phase of digital and technological transformation across the IMS group,” Vashishth added.
Vashishth is also the founder of Felix Digital Edge, an agency that has catered to the digital transformation and performance marketing needs of over 100 organizations globally. His background spans multi-channel performance marketing, lead-to-revenue funnel optimization, higher education and EdTech strategy, CRM architecture, data privacy implementation, and building data-driven growth models.
Chirag Gupta – Vice President – IMS Noida, said, “Lokesh’s elevation reflects our commitment to building an agile institution prepared for the intersection of technology, data governance, and education.
“His deep domain expertise across digital systems, growth frameworks, and regulatory readiness gives him a strong understanding of both the infrastructure and the outcomes required today. We look forward to his leadership as we establish a secure, connected, and future-ready ecosystem across IMS,” Gupta added.
