Senior media professional Vivek Makker has joined TV Today Network, taking on the role of Vice President – Ad Sales at the group’s Hindi news channel, Good News Today (GNT).
Makker brings over two decades of experience in media and marketing, having worked with leading organisations including NDTV, News Nation Network, Star TV, HT Media, and Times OOH.
Prior to his current role, he was National Revenue Head at NDTV India, a position he assumed in September 2025. In this capacity, he oversaw revenue operations for NDTV India as well as regional operations in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Rajasthan. This was Makker’s second tenure at NDTV, having previously served as National Head at NDTV India.
Between his stints at NDTV, Makker spent over three years at News Nation Network as Executive Vice President and National Sales Head. An MBA in Marketing from Delhi University, he has also held senior roles managing sales and revenue strategy at Star TV, Times OOH, and HT Media, among others.
