TATA Starbucks has addressed recent social media buzz suggesting that Dolly Chaiwala, a popular internet tea vendor, had been appointed as the brand’s ambassador in India.
In a LinkedIn post, the coffee chain firmly stated that it has “no official brand ambassadors in India.”
The statement specifically addressed rumors involving Dolly Chaiwala, a popular internet personality, who was believed by some to be part of a formal collaboration with the brand.
TATA Starbucks clarified that a widely shared meme featuring Dolly was created independently and has been “misconstrued as a formal campaign.”
The company also emphasized its commitment to “communicating with accuracy and authenticity,” underscoring the importance of maintaining customer trust.
