DLF Limited has promoted Rohit Sharma to the role of Senior Executive Director, effective April 2026, according to an announcement made on his LinkedIn profile. Sharma, who has been with the DLF group since early 2005, shared the news on the professional networking platform, expressing gratitude to the company’s management.
“Would like to share a happy news that I have been promoted as a Senior Executive Director,” Sharma wrote. “Would like to thank our Management for reposing faith in my team and self.”
Sharma most recently served as Executive Director at DLF Home Developers Limited from August 2023 to April 2026. Prior to that, he held the position of Executive Vice President at the same subsidiary from April 2022 to August 2023.
His extensive career at DLF spans more than two decades, with progressive roles including Senior Vice President (Feb 2015 – Apr 2022), Vice President (May 2011 – Feb 2015), Chief Manager (Apr 2009 – May 2011), Senior Manager (Apr 2008 – Apr 2009), Manager (May 2007 – Apr 2008), Deputy Manager (May 2006 – May 2007), and Assistant Manager (Jun 2005 – May 2006).
Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Sharma has been actively involved with NAREDCO Haryana, serving as a board member from July 2008 to June 2023. He was originally nominated as Director and Treasurer of REDCO (Real Estate Development Council), Haryana, an organization established under the aegis of the Union Ministry of Housing & Urban Poverty Alleviation to address real estate and infrastructure industry issues. He currently remains a senior member and leader of NAREDCO Haryana.
Before joining DLF, Sharma worked as an internship trainee at TV Today (June 2004 – April 2005). He also gained experience as a freelance anchor at Doordarshan Kendra (March 2003 – May 2004) and as a freelance radio broadcaster and journalist at All India Radio (February 2002 – April 2004).
Earlier in his career, Sharma practiced law for approximately four years at the Punjab & Haryana High Court after completing his LLB from Panjab University in 1999. During that period, he worked as an associate lawyer with several prominent legal figures, including Justice Surya Kant Sharma (Supreme Court judge), Senior Advocate Puneet Bali, Justice Arun Palli, and Advocate Ramesh Sharma.
