Exclusive – COTT: JioHotstar tops OTT viewership in Week 02’26; Netflix leads movies list

As per exclusive data shared by COTT (Chrome OTT) with MediaBrief, Week 02 of 2026 offers a clear snapshot of viewership trends across India’s leading OTT platforms. JioHotstar topped the charts with a reach of 72.52%, translating to 111.69 million unique viewers, followed by Netflix with a 44.77% reach and 68.95 million unique viewers. Amazon Prime Video secured the third spot, registering a reach of 35.03% and 53.95 million unique viewers.

Among shows, Fallout Season 2, a science fiction drama on Amazon Prime Video, led with a reach of 4.05% and 6.24 million unique viewers. It was followed by Shark Tank India Season 5, a reality business show on Sony LIV, with a reach of 3.82% and 5.88 million unique viewers. MasterChef India Season 4, also on Sony LIV, reported a reach of 3.49% and 5.37 million unique viewers.

In the binge-viewing category, Fallout Season 2 again topped the list with 4.05% reach and 6.24 million unique viewers, followed by Beast Games Season 2, a reality competition series on Amazon Prime Video, which garnered a reach of 3.39% and 5.23 million unique viewers. Splitsvilla Season 16, a reality dating show on Jio Hotstar, registered a reach of 3.36% with 5.17 million unique viewers.

Among movies, Akhanda 2: Thaandavam, an action drama on Netflix, led the pack with a reach of 6.15% and 9.47 million unique viewers. It was followed by Haq, a drama film on Netflix, with 4.51% reach and 6.95 million viewers, while the thriller Eko recorded a 2.64% reach and 4.07 million unique viewers.
