ZEE5 has digitally released the trailer of TAARKATA, building anticipation among viewers ahead of its premiere. The action drama blends mystery, action, dark humour, and psychological intrigue, delivering a narrative driven by suspense and layered storytelling.
The trailer offers a glimpse into a world shaped by crime, revenge, and the consequences of past actions, while exploring the complexities of the human mind. It teases a story built around hidden truths, unresolved conflicts, and characters whose lives remain deeply connected to the past.
Directed by Samik Roy Chowdhury, TAARKATA follows the journey of Agni, portrayed by Vikram Chatterjee, a once-renowned police officer whose life takes an unexpected turn.
Premiering on June 12 on ZEE5, the series also stars Priyanka Sarkar as Chhanda, Meiyang Chang as Dodo, Joydip Mukherjee as Ashok Chowdhury, Satyam Bhattacharya as Bumba Bagchi, and Ayush Das as Tintin, alongside an ensemble cast.
The series also marks a significant milestone as the first production venture under Vikram Chatterjee Films, while introducing Meiyang Chang in his first Bengali-language project, bringing together a unique collaboration of artists and storytellers.
