TV Today Network has announced two key additions to its senior management team. Effective June 1, 2024, Rudra Kasturi will take on the role of Chief Strategy Officer (Digital Business), while Shailesh Shekhar will join as Chief Synergy Officer.
Kasturi brings more than 20 years of expertise in digital transformation and strategic leadership to his new position. His extensive experience encompasses areas such as search, audience development, revenue growth, and partnerships.
Throughout his career, Kasturi has held prominent roles at respected organizations such as Times Group, Byju’s Group, Snapdeal, Amazon, and Yahoo. Most recently, He served as the Business Head of Digital Innovations at Bennett Coleman & Co. until January 2024.
Kasturi has offered his consulting services to global companies including Tencent, Anther, and PickYourTrail.
Shekhar, a seasoned media professional with more than 30 years in journalism, has worked across print, television, and digital platforms. Beginning his career as a correspondent for daily newspapers, he transitioned to television news channels in the mid-90s, coinciding with the rise of television in India.
Over the past two decades, Shekhar has led digital business initiatives for various media companies in India and contributed to Microsoft Start’s (MSN) global content ecosystem as the APAC Regional Director.
In his previous tenure with India Today Group (ITG), he served as the COO and Editor of its digital business. His resume also includes stints at BCCL, HT Media, and BiTV.
