Sony Pictures Networks India has launched ‘India Ki Sabse Badi Party’, a campaign featuring Pankaj Tripathi to promote the Indian football team’s international matches against Panama, Brazil and Uruguay beginning September 25, 2026.
The campaign opens with Tripathi issuing a mysterious invitation to a celebration on October 3, before revealing its connection to India’s match against five-time world champions Brazil in Kolkata.
While the India-Brazil clash forms the centerpiece of the campaign, ‘India Ki Sabse Badi Party’ celebrates the entire international window as the Blue Tigers take on Panama on September 25, Brazil on October 3 and Uruguay on October 6.
Blending Pankaj Tripathi’s distinctive storytelling style with the emotion and energy of world-class football, the 65-second campaign film will be released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada.
The campaign extends through ‘India ki sabse badi party x fan edition’, a series of films featuring Pankaj Tripathi and capturing the excitement of fans from across India in their local languages towards the build-up of the matches. The actor is also seen in ‘Tripathi Ji Ki Tuition’, a series of short-form films in which Pankaj Tripathi is taking entertaining lessons on football.
The broadcaster is also set to launch a social first campaign featuring Pankaj Tripathi in a fun interaction with Team India footballers along with skipper Gurpreet Singh Sandhu.
