OpenAI has entered a multi-year partnership with Sachin Tendulkar to help people across India understand and use artificial intelligence in their personal and professional lives.
The collaboration brings together Sachin’s enduring connection with generations of Indians and his personal experience of using ChatGPT. Through content, campaigns and experiences, it will demonstrate how people can use AI for things that matter to them – from learning about an interest to developing an idea or tackling their hardest problems.
First introduced to ChatGPT by his daughter Sara while planning a family holiday, Sachin now uses it for preparation and personal interests, and to help organise and refine his own ideas. This includes exploring his passion for cars, bringing together colours and wheel designs beyond the options available in standard car configurators, understanding golf courses, and finding recipes and inspiration when cooking for friends.
“Much of my learning starts with a question. With ChatGPT, I can keep asking, build on an idea and explore something at my own pace, whether I’m preparing for a speech or learning about something I enjoy,” said Sachin Tendulkar. “Through this partnership, I want to share what I find useful and learn what else I can do. I hope that gives more people a starting point to try it for themselves, with something they care about.”

The partnership launches with a teaser featuring Sachin asking ChatGPT to guess who he is based on 10 questions. The film offers a first look at how he interacts with ChatGPT and the kinds of questions he uses it to explore.
Over the coming days, additional videos featuring Sachin alongside entrepreneur and creator Varun Mayya will be released, highlighting how Sachin already uses ChatGPT and building on ideas he wants to bring to life.
The partnership comes as the use of ChatGPT continues to grow in India. Twice as many people in India use ChatGPT today compared with last year, with writing and communication, education and learning, and information seeking among the most popular use cases.
