Cricket player Mahendra Singh Dhoni has expanded his involvement in padel with the merger of 7Padel MS Dhoni and PadelPark India. The merger brings together both entities under a unified national platform intended to support structured growth, community participation, and organised play in padel.
Since August 2024, Parth Jindal, Founder of JSW Sports, has been an investor in PadelPark India. Mahendra Singh Dhoni joining as a Partner in the merged entity adds to the existing institutional participation in the platform, supporting its next phase of expansion.

Founded by Nikhil Sachdev, Jigar Doshi, Pratik Doshi, and Ronak Daftary, PadelPark India has been involved in developing a padel ecosystem in the country. The organisation operates more than 40 owned and managed courts and has contributed to a wider infrastructure footprint of over 200 courts delivered nationwide. Over the next year, the organisation plans to expand to 400–500 courts.
According to the World Padel Report 2025 released in December by the International Padel Federation (FIP), padel has crossed 77,300 courts worldwide across 150 countries.
Industry tracking indicates that padel courts in India have increased from around 70 courts in 2023 to approximately 100 courts by mid-2024, and over 300 courts nationwide at present.
In November 2025, the International Padel Federation (FIP) and Padel Asia announced that padel has been recognised by the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA) and will be included as an official sport in future editions of the Asian Games.
Following the merger, 7Padel MS Dhoni and PadelPark India will continue efforts to support padel’s growth through organised infrastructure, participation, and community-led development.
