Dabur elevates Binit Kumar as Head of Marketing for Health Supplements, Hydration and Baby Care

Dabur India Limited has elevated Binit Kumar as Head of Marketing for its Health Supplements, Hydration and Baby Care business. The move comes after Kumar successfully led the company’s oral care portfolio for four years, taking on responsibility for a set of categories that have long been central to Dabur’s healthcare heritage.

In his new role, Kumar will oversee Dabur’s Health Supplements, Hydration, Baby Care and Pure Herbs portfolios, including brands such as Dabur Chyawanprash, Dabur Glucose, Dabur Lal Tail and the broader Dabur Baby range, along with single-herb Ayurvedic wellness offerings.

Kumar has been with Dabur for over four years. Most recently, he served as AGM Marketing – Oral Care, where he managed brand and P&L responsibilities for the toothpaste and toothpowder category, overseeing a business with a turnover of around ₹1,600 crore. During his tenure, he led innovation initiatives, portfolio management, media planning and digital marketing efforts while driving campaigns for brands including Dabur Red and Dabur Herb’l.

Prior to that, he held the position of DGM Marketing and P&L Owner – Oral Care, leading Dabur’s oral care portfolio and spearheading initiatives around innovation, consumer understanding, communication strategy and digital engagement.

Before joining Dabur, Kumar spent nearly four years at Zydus Wellness, where he managed food brands including Nutralite and Sampriti and later headed Trade and Shopper Marketing for India and the subcontinent across brands such as Complan, Glucon-D, Sugar Free, Everyuth and Nutralite.

Earlier in his career, Kumar worked at Coty Inc., handling key accounts and trade marketing responsibilities, and spent nearly six years at Procter & Gamble across sales, market strategy, customer marketing and trade marketing roles. He began his professional journey with stints at Vodafone Essar Limited, Britannia Industries Limited and Cognizant Technology Solutions.

Kumar brings more than 16 years of experience across sales and marketing, having worked with organisations including Procter & Gamble, Coty, Zydus Wellness and Dabur. His experience spans brand management, P&L leadership, innovation, shopper marketing and business strategy across FMCG, B2B and B2C sectors.
