Charuta Ambardekar Saoji has moved on from L’Oréal after serving for nearly four years. In her most recent role, she was AGM Marketing for Garnier.

She has now joined Viacom18’s Hindi general entertainment channel, Colors, as Vice-President and Head of Marketing, according to media reports.

Announcing her departure from L’Oréal, in a LinkedIn post, Saoji wrote: “After a fabulous ~4 years, the time has come to move on from L’Oréal. It was an incredible privilege to have been a core part of L’Oréal Paris’ and Garnier’s stellar market-beating growth journeys.

“A dozen launches, a load of wins and so many learnings for eternity. And above all, it was an absolute honor to have worked with some of the brightest and the warmest people.

“As I move on to my next adventure, I hope I retain the obsession with beauty in everything I do, stay ahead of the curve on consumer trends and forever find newer ways to engage. Bonne chance! Au revoir!,” she added.

Saoji joined L’Oréal in 2020 as the AGM Marketing for L’Oréal Paris, later transitioning to AGM Marketing for Garnier in April 2024.

Prior to this, she was associated with Unilever for 8 years. She joined the company in January 2013 as Brand Manager (Skin Care & Dermat Marketing) and rose through the ranks to Marketing Manager by January 2019.

Before that, she was Assistant Product Manager (Complan) at HJ Heinz from April 2011 to December 2012, where she worked on brands like Heinz Ketchup and Complan Nutrigro and launched a new brand in the mothers’ MFD space.

In her nearly two-decade-long professional journey, she has also worked with brands such as Reckitt Benckiser, The Coca-Cola Company, and Avaya GlobalConnect.
