The appointment of Ilves follows the recent appointment of former Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison, as Global Strategic Advisor, further strengthening BLS International’s Global Advisory Board.
Ilves served as President of Estonia from 2006 to 2016, following a career spanning diplomacy, government and technology policy. He is widely known for championing Estonia’s digital development and e-governance, turning the country into one of the world’s most advanced digital societies. His experience in e-government, cybersecurity and digital transformation aligns closely with BLS International’s focus on accessible, secure citizen services.
