Arvind Mathur has moved on from Amazon Web Services (AWS) after two and a half years. Based in Singapore, he most recently served as Executive in Residence, advising business leaders on digital transformation, cloud modernisation and AI adoption. He has not announced his next role.
Announcing his departure on LinkedIn, Mathur reflected on his work with customer executives and the AWS Executive in Residence team. “I leave with deep gratitude for the impact we made together, the learning, the friendships, and my own growth,” he wrote. He added that he plans to spend time with family before sharing what comes next.
Mathur joined AWS in February 2024 as an Enterprise Strategist and took on the Executive in Residence role in September 2025. His work involved helping senior leadership teams address challenges around technology strategy, organisational change and implementing programmes at scale.
Before joining AWS, Mathur was Chief Information Officer for the AMEA region at Kellogg Company. He previously served as Chief Information and Digital Officer at Prudential Assurance Company Singapore and spent nearly two decades in IT and digital leadership roles at Procter & Gamble. He also worked as a CIO and digital partner at TransformX Advisory.
