ESPN Unlimited content is now available directly on YouTube TV, giving subscribers access to live sports, on-demand programming and ESPN Originals within the YouTube TV app at no additional cost, provided ESPN is included in their plan.
YouTube TV subscribers with the base plan, or any plan that includes Sports, can access live events including the US Open tennis, NCAA College Football, PGA Tour golf, WWE Premium Live Events, LALIGA and out-of-market NHL games. The offering also includes studio programming such as The Rich Eisen Show, ESPN Originals and Films, and the full ESPN 30 for 30 documentary library.
Subscribers will also be able to use YouTube TV features including unlimited DVR, Key Plays, scores and stats, and Multiview while watching ESPN Unlimited content.
As part of the rollout, YouTube TV has updated its interface to make ESPN Unlimited programming easier to discover. The live guide now features three rows of currently airing ESPN Unlimited live events, along with a dedicated network row for additional browsing.
For games with multiple feeds, viewers can select between different language options, home and away feeds, and alternate camera angles through an updated station picker, with each feed clearly labelled.
YouTube TV’s Fantasy View feature has also been expanded to support ESPN Fantasy Football. Users can link their ESPN accounts through YouTube TV settings ahead of the upcoming NFL season and track their fantasy teams while watching live NFL games.
The integration brings ESPN Unlimited’s live and on-demand sports content together with YouTube TV’s existing viewing and discovery features, allowing subscribers to access the programming through a single platform.
