Instagram’s Edits app introduces Dhurandhar-inspired font for Reels

Dhurandhar-inspired font for Reels

Instagram’s photo and video editing app, Edits, has launched a custom font inspired by the blockbuster 2026 film Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The font is designed to reflect the film’s distinct styling, enabling creators to incorporate its aesthetic into Reels and other video content centered around the movie.

The Dhurandhar-inspired font is available for a limited time on Android and iOS devices. Creators can use it by opening the Edits app, starting a Reel, tapping the text tool in the editor, and selecting the new font.

The launch coincides with the film’s widespread popularity. Released on 19 March 2026, Dhurandhar: The Revenge became the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film of all time, earning over ₹1,006 crore worldwide in its first week and breaking multiple box-office records. Dialogues from the film, such as Rakesh Bedi’s “Mera Baccha Hai Tu,” have gone viral, inspiring memes, short-form videos, and brand campaigns.

By introducing this font, Instagram gives fans and creators a new way to engage with the film’s world, translating its cinematic style into social media content.
