Chinese Wok, a Desi Chinese QSR brand, marked a cultural collaboration in East India with the launch of Chirkut Official’s new music video at its Chinar Park Restaurant in Kolkata. Tying food, music, and celebration together, the event brought the vibrancy of Pujo to life, blending flavours and nostalgia for Gen Z and millennial audiences.

The evening saw the presence of the band Chirkut Official, along with cast members Soumya Mukherjee and Arunima, and vocals by Debayan Banerjee, Shubham Mitra and Sreejita Mitra. Fans and media were treated to a live performance, an exclusive screening of the music video, interactive photo opportunities with the artists, and Chinese Wok’s signature Desi Chinese favourites, making the evening a blend of flavour and festivity.

This collaboration reflects Chinese Wok’s vision of weaving itself into the cultural fabric of India’s festive calendar, especially as the brand expands its footprint in East India. The integration of food and music serves as a way to connect with Kolkata’s youth while reinforcing the brand’s emotional appeal during Durga Puja, a time when food and togetherness are at the heart of every celebration.

Aayush Madhusudan Agrawal, Founder and Director, Lenexis Foodworks said, “Kolkata has always been a cultural powerhouse, and Durga Puja represents the very spirit of community and celebration. At Chinese Wok, we are proud to celebrate our 10th anniversary by being part of this energy through food and music. This collaboration with Chirkut Official is our way of bringing Pujo alive with flavours, stories, and connections that resonate with today’s generation. As we expand further in East India, we want to create experiences that go beyond dining experiences that inspire joy, nostalgia, and togetherness.”

With this collaboration in Kolkata, Chinese Wok has reinforced its presence in East India and showcased how food and culture together can create moments of belonging, making the Pujo season memorable.
