Through this celebration, TVS Motor Company reaffirmed its commitment to building a responsible, safe and passionate riding culture across India.

Over 1,000 riders participated across 17 cities in India to celebrate World Motorcycle Day. The initiative was centred around Safe and Responsible Riding.

Awareness-led rides promoted:

  • Use of protective riding gear and safety equipment

  • Compliance with traffic rules and road etiquette

  • Responsible riding behaviour across urban and highway routes

  • Respect for local communities and public spaces

The initiative saw participation from the TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and TVS Ronin riding communities. TVS Apache marks 20 years of racing heritage with a global community of 6.5+ million customers. The TVS Apache riding community has grown to 500,000+ registered members.

As part of the celebrations, TVS Motor Company also highlighted its continued commitment to rider safety – encouraging riders to prioritise protective gear, ride responsibly and champion safer roads for everyone. The initiative reflects the belief that the spirit of motorcycling lies not only in the thrill of the ride, but in making every ride a safe one.

Vimal Sumbly, Head – Premium Business, TVS Motor Company said, “Motorcycling today is about far more than travelling from one destination to another – it is a way of life shaped by freedom, discipline, responsibility and camaraderie. It was inspiring to see riders across India come together to celebrate the spirit of riding while demonstrating that true motorcycling begins with respect for the road, for fellow riders and for the communities we ride through.

“This year’s World Motorcycle Day celebration is especially meaningful as we continue to commemorate two decades of TVS Apache – a brand born from our racing DNA and today embraced by over 6 million customers globally. “Over the years, TVS Apache and TVS Ronin have evolved beyond motorcycles to become communities that bring together passionate riders through performance, experiences and a shared love for motorcycling. Through initiatives like these, we remain committed to building a stronger riding culture and creating experiences that make every ride safe, responsible and memorable,” Sumbly added.

Among the nationwide celebrations, Bengaluru hosted the flagship ride, bringing together over 100 customers, creating a platform for riders to come together and celebrate their thrill for motorcycling. The event featured curated riding experiences, interactions with TVS Apache Owners Group (AOG) and TVS Ronin CULT communities, and engaging conversations with motorcyclists, supporting the bonds that unite riders beyond the road.

The nationwide ride served as a reminder that responsible motorcycling can coexist with adventure, performance and exploration. Riders showcased how safety, discipline and respect for traffic norms are integral to enjoying the diverse landscapes, cultures and experiences that India offers. As TVS Apache celebrates two decades of performance motorcycling, the World Motorcycle Day initiative further strengthens the brand’s commitment to nurturing a thriving and responsible riding ecosystem across the country.
