Audio streaming service JioSaavn has announced new updates aimed at making the platform’s festive season experience richer and easier to navigate for users. With new JioTunes updates and a dedicated editorial campaign for the Ganpati festival, the platform is gearing up for this year’s festive season.
As part of the JioTune updates, JioSaavn has added a “Popular” tag to JioTune clips of trending songs. This “Popular” tag highlights the most loved clip of a song, helping users find and set their choice of JioTune clip within seconds. Users can also keep a track of their JioTunes status on their Music Homepage, giving them a quick glance of their JioTune activation.
These updates are designed to make Jio users’ experience smoother, helping them to find the right JioTune and stay updated through their celebrations.
JioSaavn is also launching a dedicated editorial campaign for the upcoming Ganpati festival, running from 11th to 25th September across all relevant languages. The campaign brings playlist modules to the Music Homepage in Hindi, Marathi and Telugu, a dedicated module on the JioTunes Homepage, targeted notifications, and in-app banners for users. This ensures the Music Homepage stays current with what is happening, so listeners always find music that fits the moment.
For JioSaavn, festivities and music go hand-in-hand and these updates reflect the same. It gives consumers what they need musically, whether it’s a prayer meeting at home or a house party with friends. Ganpati music consumption has grown significantly over the years, with Marathi content in particular seeing a sharp rise in consumption during the festival.
This festive season, JioSaavn invites users to find their tune. Users can set their JioTune and start their Ganpati celebrations on the JioSaavn app.
