Exclusive – COTT: Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, MX Player top OTT platforms in week 38’23

In Week 38 of 2023 (COTT Week: 17th Sep – 23rd Sep 23), Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema, and MX Player emerged as the top three OTT platforms, as reported by Chrome OTT.

During this week, Asia Cup 2023 on Disney+ Hotstar secured the first position on the list of top shows and also stood out as the most-binged title. Additionally, Sujoy Ghosh’s directorial Jaane Jaan, available on Netflix, claimed the top spot among movies for the week.

Top 3 OTT Platforms

During Week 38, Disney+ Hotstar, JioCinema and MX Player stood as the top three OTT platforms in India. Disney+ Hotstar led the pack with a reach of 9.99%, equivalent to 50.35 million unique viewers.
JioCinema followed closely with 45.96 million unique viewers and a reach of 9.12%. Securing the third position, MX Player achieved a reach of 3.17%, corresponding to 15.98 million unique viewers.
