Quick commerce company Zepto has appointed Navdeep Sachdeva as Senior Vice President and Head of Procurement. Based in Bengaluru, Sachdeva assumed the role in December 2025 and will lead procurement across supply chain, logistics, technology, and marketing as the company continues to scale its operations.
In his new role, Sachdeva will be responsible for driving procurement as a strategic growth lever, overseeing high-impact negotiations and partnerships, and building scalable sourcing and contracting frameworks. His mandate includes improving unit economics, strengthening operational resilience, and enabling sustainable growth through long-term, performance-linked vendor partnerships.
Sachdeva brings over two decades of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, and commercial leadership. Prior to joining Zepto, he spent nearly six years at PhonePe, most recently as Group Head – Strategic Sourcing, where he led sourcing across marketing, IT, facilities, HR, and call centres.
Before PhonePe, he held multiple leadership roles at Flipkart, including Director – Commercials, managing procurement and commercial strategy across key corporate functions.
Earlier in his career, Sachdeva spent over nine years at Bharti Airtel, where he managed pan-India services procurement and operations across IT, facilities, HR, finance, insurance, and customer services. He began his professional journey at EXL Services India, working on life insurance operations.
