Delhi Comic Con, a major pop culture festival in India, has officially begun, bringing a wide range of comics, anime, manga, gaming and storytelling to the city for the weekend. Presented by Maruti Suzuki Arena, powered by Crunchyroll, and held in association with Android, the Delhi edition started from December 5th at the NSIC Exhibition Grounds, Okhla, offering a three-day event focused on pop culture categories.
The energy on day 1 continued to build throughout the day as fans arrived with friends and family to participate in the activities. The grounds had steady conversations as attendees interacted with comic writers and illustrators, explored book stations featuring anime and manga series, and discovered new stories.
In the international guest roster, Chloé Hollings, known as the voice of Widowmaker in Overwatch, met fans and spoke about her work across film, theatre and gaming titles including Valerian, Wolverine and Wolfenstein: Youngblood.
A varied group of publishing houses and Indian artists interacted with fans including Savio Mascarenhas (Tinkle’s hero-maker and Group Art Director at Amar Chitra Katha), Alok Sharma from Indusverse, Asvin Srivatsangam from Yali Dreams Creations, Prasad Bhat from GraphiCurry, Vivek Goel from Holy Cow Entertainment and others from the creative community.
Delhi Comic Con also highlighted young talent, with creators like 19-year-old Vaishnavi Phogat, who is already running two Webtoon series and multiple manga projects, seen connecting with readers. Marvel creator Tadam Gyadu met fans with his India-inspired storytelling, while illustrator Alaina Vinayak, known as Axis Williams, presented her stylised art. Together, they showed how young creators are contributing to Indian pop culture.
Day 1 also included sessions such as showcases by Amar Chitra Katha and Radio Mirchi, along with creator-led interactions including Comic Con Creator’s Corner: Zoraver and The Lost Gods, The Creatorverse, and the Comic Con Community Spotlight: The Tier Wars.
Performances continued through the evening. The Hope Beatbox Crew performed rhythms, followed by Street Pulse ft. K!llSwitch who presented a musical set. Inder Sahani’s stand-up act added a comedy segment.
The venue maintained a celebratory atmosphere as fandoms participated in the event. Cosplayers presented their work as characters like Wolverine, Ringwraiths, Evangelion, Loki, Denji, Black Panther, Zoro and others.
Across the festival, competitive and casual gaming zones contributed to the activities as fans participated in various games.
VR and interactive zones were set up to give visitors a range of experiences. Reflex zones by Maruti Suzuki Arena Zone and the Crunchyroll Experience arena offered themed spaces. Attendees also visited the Android BGMI Panfest and the Lenovo Legion Gaming Zone, while fantasy fans entered the Avatar: Fire & Ash Experience Zone. Kinderjoy’s Experience Zone offered a Batman-themed Gotham City for interactive activities for children and parents.
Various sections of the venue provided different engagement points for creators, fans and pop-culture participants.

Day 2 at Delhi Comic Con includes an Amar Chitra Katha session, a performance by magician Karan Singh, and a set by Yung Sammy, the Nigerian-born rapper contributing to India’s hip-hop scene.
