Sports Flashes, India’s first online Sports radio channel dedicated to broadcasting sports content including live updates and 24×7 chat commentaries, has launched fantasy game Sporty Jackpot. It will allow users to play fantasy cricket, Football and other Indian favourite sports for as low as Rs. 1. The prize amount can go upto INR 2 crores in some of the matches.

The company plans to market the game through offline route, targeting 100 distributors across North India. The model issimilar to telecom companies selling pre-paid coupons. The other major USP of Sporty Jackpot would be that the game will be available in regional languages.

The third major innovation which the company has added is the prizes which can be won by redeeming the points/ coins earned by playing prediction games during during live matches.

Indian gaming industry has huge apetite with the overall telecom subscriber base for wireless connections, at over 114.39 crore in May this year, which is expected to grow”, Raheja added.

As of 2020, India ranks 16thamong the world in eSports industry with a total revenue of ₹8,000 crore (approximately $1.17 billion). With the ban of games like PUBG, other online games have a huge market opportunity to tap.
