After months of big screen shows suspended due to the nationwide lockdown, the Bollywood preview of Khaali Peeli garnered a full house at the ŠKODA presents Supermoon Drive-In an initiative by Zee Live and Zee Studios. This first-of-its-kind drive-in was facilitated by PHD Media and spanned 6 shows in Gurugram across the long weekend starting October 2nd.
Safety precautions were taken for this event, from contactless ticketing to F&B arrangements. The audience, finally, got to enjoy an outdoor big-screen experience after more than 6 months from the safety of their vehicles.
In collaboration with PHD Media, ŠKODA’s branded movie initiative saw significant success, with the first two rows of the sedan category and the first row of the SUV category being reserved specially for ŠKODA cars. As part of this path-breaking initiative involving a large scale socially-distanced event, the automobile manufacturing brand also achieved amplification through the welcome and ticket booking phases.
Tarun Jha, Head of Product and Marketing of ŠKODA AUTO, said, “Our whole objective as part of this campaign was to provide a space for people to come out of their homes while maintaining safety norms and social distancing.
