Meta has announced the launch of Vibes, a new feature within the Meta AI app designed to showcase and enable the creation of short-form, AI-generated videos. The company describes this as the first step toward a new way to discover, create, and share AI-powered visual content.
Vibes appears as a dedicated feed at the center of the Meta AI app and is also accessible via meta.ai. It features a curated and eventually personalized stream of AI-generated videos from creators and communities, with tools that allow users to either start from scratch or remix existing videos by adding music, adjusting styles, or incorporating their own visuals.

The update represents the next iteration of the Meta AI app, which remains a central hub for managing Meta’s AI glasses, generating content from user photos and videos, and interacting with the Meta AI assistant for creative help and inspiration.
Users can share their creations directly to the Vibes feed, send them via direct message, or cross-post to Instagram and Facebook Stories and Reels. Additionally, if users encounter a Meta AI video on Instagram, they can tap through to remix it in the Meta AI app.
Meta says it is collaborating with a range of visual artists and creators to expand its suite of creation tools and models. Future updates are expected to bring more advanced capabilities as the platform evolves based on user feedback.
